The first time I met Nicole was on the front row of a conference. She was getting ready to be introduced to sing. We met briefly and I knew she was the real deal from the start. As the preliminaries were being handled before introducing her I heard her praying in the spirit under her breath. I remember smiling thinking, “Even though she’s done it a million times, she still feels the weight of what God wants to do and her dependency on Him to do it.”

What a gift. Not just the voice; the deep heart she lives from.

Yesterday was release day for this podcast conversation with @nicolebinion. I encourage you to listen to it with your heart, and grab up some of what she carries. I know you’ll be better for it, just like I was.

I love this quote I was reminded of recently.

A reminder to keep on dreaming with God about His beautiful plot for your life. Which means throwing off any discounted version that may have crept in.

It speaks to the evidence that we come into this world with a seed of eternity in our hearts.

A seed awaiting our response with our belief, our trust, our hope and ultimately with the energies of our life.

Children dream of being significant because of where they come from. Born of a creative idea in the mind of God, crafting them with unique, exquisite details. What a gift to live out, only by His grace.

moments in life that take your breath away.

I’ve had two of them now under this same tree on a hill in Franklin, TN.

First one is captured in the last pic. It was the last day of the last girls trip we would take.
We spent a Sunday here having devotions together, praying and writing our dreams in journals that I had brought for us.

Spanning 3 generations between my Grandmother, Mother, Aunt and me, ages 89-42, each of us had pages that we filled up and then read to each other.

We stayed there for hours under the shade of that gorgeous tree, no one in a rush to leave. I looked at those women around me that day that I’ve known my entire life and they took my breath away.
They are the sweetest gifts, priceless.

I spent the last 2 days back here again (first pic) It took me a while to walk down to that tree and sit. But I did and it took my breath away again at the swift changes that life can bring.

But the presence of the Spirit of truth that breathes new life within us was so very real. He is the comforter like no other and He gives new life for new days. My heart is so thankful for what has been - its made my heart so rich. Yet I am filled with hope for what is still yet to be. When I got up from the bench I was never more convinced that eternity in our hearts is the key to everything. It is the great stabilizer through heart ache and pain. Breathing it in deep, like pure oxygen is what our hearts crave.

Whatever has come to contend with you, know that it is not just about you, but about all you will affect standing in the place God is readying for you. Don't get sidetracked by feelings and emotions of insecurity. Recognize that you have an enemy, and your only way through is not by what you can SEE but by what you SENSE. Because you have the Spirit of truth inside you, He is leading you in very calculated steps toward your destined place. He is your compass. Take your cues from Him, and move forward boldly. This is your destiny.

Standards are interesting things. Once they are in

Standards are interesting things. Once they are instilled in you, they are meant to steer you. Low standards = low living. High standards = high living.

If you start out with high standards and then somewhere along the way you decide to lower your standards to make room for something that really has no business being there, then you shouldn’t be surprised when life starts looking different than it used to when your standards were leading you on the high road.

Let the standards of your spirit lead the way. There you will find a deep life, a pure life, a fulfilling life, and one that is worth living well!
