I think that is a really good way to approach the holidays—just acknowledging His steadying hand on you and working in your life. Realizing that moves us out of any place of internal unrest and into His peace, security, love and joy. ⁣

Assignments are the strategies of God moving you forward in what He’s calling you to do. Assignments don’t have to look like the calling because they carry a multiplicity of purpose, but every assignment is a door to the progression of your destiny. Assignments compose calling like notes compose a song. So don’t be afraid to say yes to something you feel led to do that looks completely different than what you feel called to do—it might be the door you need to keep moving forward.

God needs you to get out of looking for what’s probable, and lock in to believing Him for what’s possible. Three keys to making bold moves of faith:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1. Chew on the leading privately for a month. Remember, if it's God today it will be God tomorrow, but the litmus test is whether the knowing starts growing or if it dissipates.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2. If it grows, share the idea with your safety net—the men and women of God that you submit to as leaders in your life. Don't inform them of what you're doing. Simply communicate what's been stirring in you, and ask, "How does that hit you?"⁣⁣
⁣⁣
3. If your safety net affirms the leading, this is the most important part: pull the trigger! Step out of the boat. You won’t have the full picture, but you’ll have the first step to move forward. ⁣⁣

Five things I have learned will get you through a hard place, crisis, or transition:⁣
⁣
1. When in doubt, clear out your environment so you can hear from God. ⁣
⁣
2. Go to trusted voices early on. Ask questions and then listen; you’ll save yourself some unnecessary suffering. ⁣
⁣
3. Settle it. Then make the hard choices you know you need to make. Create a plan on how you’re going to follow through. ⁣
⁣
4. Accept those decisions, rest in the relief, and be at peace. ⁣
⁣
5. Don’t reconsider. Move on. ⁣
⁣

The moment we live in requires we be present in power and authority, and that means we need to be primed for right responses and reactions. Remember: your life is your territory.
